Bitcoin is King, Despite Ver's Attempted Sting
There has been much confusion among new adopters of cryptocurrencies, especially when it comes to Bitcoin and Bcash (aka Bitcoin Cash). Bcash came about as the result of the hard-fork in the Bitcoin blockchain in 2017. Since then, a smear campaign has been led, mainly by "Bcash Bully", Roger Ver. Recently, Ver Tweeted that Bitcoin should no longer even be considered as a cryptocurrency, using the term "store of cash" and that Bcash is the real Bitcoin and the real cryptocurrency:
It's apparent, when trying to use either as a digital currency, that Bitcoin (and no, we're not calling it Bitcoin Core, sorry Mr. Ver) is far more accepted as a form of payment, than Bcash (and no Mr. Ver, we are NOT calling it Bitcoin Cash). There are many sources to show this prevalence of Bitcoin acceptance, such as this one from 99bitcoins.com, and few to show Bcash acceptance, apart from this skewed list. Ver's attempt at sabotage, stating that Bitcoin is only a store of value is baseless, because you can take that store of value (Bitcoin) to buy yourself a Subway sandwich, on your way to the airport, with a ticket you purchased with Bitcoin from Cheapair.com, on your way to a beautiful beachside hotel that you booked with Bitcoin through Expedia.com in your sexy new board shorts that you acquired using your Bitcoin to by a gift card at eGifter.com and order drinks from the bar using your BitPay Visa card. Or you can use your Bcash to buy...um...Bitcoin Cash stickers from Bitcoincashstickers.com.
